2015 Watershed Summit

January 21, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Water is a key and complex resource with many local concerns. The Boulder County Consortium of Cities, in conjunction with Boulder County, would like to formally invite you to attend the 2015 Watershed Summit. This event builds on a three year collaborative effort in Boulder County that helped identify gaps, strategies and innovate solutions related to water planning. From the connection between water and energy to the water quality in streams, water touches all our lives. By bringing together groups like water utilities, educators, public officials, the agriculture community, water experts and sustainability representatives, the Watershed Summit is intended to enhance the dialogue around local water.

Please join us for a series of panel discussions from 8am-4:30pm on January 21, 2015 at the Plaza Event Center, 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont,
CO 80501. To ensure your spot at the Summit, register now!

Panels are being planned to discuss:
• Water Storage & Water Conservation
• The State Water Plan
• Drought, Flood and Climate Change
• Local Watershed Planning Efforts
• In-Stream Flows: Partnerships and Policies
• County Sustainability: Water, Energy and More.
• The “Agricultural Pipeline”
