When homeowners choose sustainable deconstruction, carefully dismantling a building and salvaging its material is essential. The reusable materials often include, but are not limited to, lumber, doors, windows, cabinetry, and hardwood flooring. By choosing deconstruction, homeowners and builders can save natural resources and help divert material from the landfill!

Sustainable Demolition: How it Works

Resource Central offers deconstruction assessments for renovation projects across Boulder County. Take advantage of our expertise and give a second useful life to your gently used items. Your in-kind donation helps to divert over 3 million pounds of materials from landfills each year while saving you money! All deconstruction donations are tax-deductible, making the cost of deconstruction comparable to that of standard demolition. Check our donation guidelines to see if your deconstruction project qualifies you for our assessment.

Your deconstruction assessment walkthrough is free and the deconstruction plan we write for the city demolition permit cost only $250.
