Seminario «Water-Wise»: Cómo diseñar el jardín de tus sueños con un consumo racional del agua
Taught by expert landscape designer Julie Hauser of Indigo Landscape Design, this comprehensive seminar will prepare you for your next landscape renovation project. Julie will discuss how to pick the best location for your new Xeriscape garden and how to create a base map for it using simple techniques to get the most precise measurements possible. She will discuss how to perform a site analysis and conduct your site inventory – in other words, how to decide what you’ll keep, what will go, and why these things are important to your overall design. Finally, Julie will dive into what she calls “frosting” your plants – how to pick the appropriate plants for our climate, what to look for in a good plant at the local nursery, and where exactly to plant them. Armed with all of this knowledge, you’ll be able to create the Xeriscape garden of your dreams!
