A Record-Breaking Finale for Rock & Reuse 2026

What a way to wrap up the Rock & Reuse season!

Saturday’s Fall Plant & Garden Tool Sale was a big day for conservation by every measure. Thank you to everyone who came out to shop waterwise plants and reclaimed materials, enjoy the sunshine and food trucks, and celebrate conservation with our community.

Fall Plant & Garden Tool Sale Impact

Here’s your Plant Sale impact by the numbers:

  • 4,754 waterwise plants found new homes
  • 36,000+ pounds of reclaimed materials diverted from the landfill
  • 810+ community members came together to save water, money, and resources

The event set new records for both plants finding new homes and community participation! That 810+ participant count is based on the number of participants making donations or purchases, so it doesn’t even capture all the friends, family members, and four-legged conservation enthusiasts who joined in on the fun.

It was the perfect way to close out an incredibly impactful 2026 Rock & Reuse season. Check out the full event series stats below!

Rock & Reuse 2026 Impact

Across all six Rock & Reuse events in 2026, our community helped:

  • Divert 327,225+ pounds of materials from the landfill
  • Bring together 3,363+ community participants
  • Give 3,450 reclaimed tools and other materials new homes
  • Give 9,298 waterwise plants and veggie starts new homes
  • Put 12,748+ plants, tools, and reclaimed materials into use

While these are very large numbers, each one represents a conservation action. Thank you to everyone who shopped, participated, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make this Rock & Reuse season such a strong one. We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year!
