Waterwise Community Field Blog: A Frosty Photo Showcase

These photos from Resource Central participants show that low-water gardens can impress all year long!

A belated Happy New Year from me and everyone here at Resource Central! I thought it would be nice to ring in 2026 with a special winter-friendly field blog post. As some of you might have already seen when the winners were announced, many of our program participants across the state shared photos with us during our Garden In A Box Frosty Photo Contest last December.

Thank you to everyone who submittted photos and shared what Garden In A Box means to you. We received so many awesome entries, so I’ve picked out a few more to share with y’all! Hope you enjoy viewing, and let’s all hope this winter starts feeling a little more like winter pretty soon. We need that snowpack!
