Speaker: Amy Scances-Wolfe – Left Hand Landscaping

Permaculture is all about designing human systems that are modeled after nature. In this class, Amy Scances-Wolfe will teach you how to translate deep observation of your yard into an abundant landscape that thrives in our high, dry climate. Topics include working with and creating micro-climate, building healthy and water-retentive soils, choosing appropriate low-water edible and medicinal plants, and the basics of forest garden design.
