Rain Sensor Application

Thanks to our partnership with local water providers and municipalities, eligible customers can receive a Rain Bird rain sensor with installation for FREE!

This application will help determine your eligibility for a Rain Bird rain sensor through Resource Central's Slow the Flow program. We strongly recommend having access to your current sprinkler control clock while filling out this form.

Please note we have a limited number of rain sensors and appointments available per water provider/municipality. We contact applicants in the order their applications are received and schedule appointments first-come, first-served.

***IMPORTANT: A sprinkler evaluation is a mandatory pre-requisite to receiving a Rain Bird rain sensor through this program. You can still complete this application if you haven't yet had a sprinkler evaluation, but we will not consider you for a rain sensor until the evaluation is complete.

You must meet ALL qualifications in order to participate in this program. If you do not have a functional in-ground sprinkler system that is controlled by a sprinkler control clock, you do not qualify for a rain sensor through this program.

Do you currently have a working rain sensor for your sprinkler system?*

Yes

You must meet ALL qualifications in order to participate in this program. If you already have a rain sensor for your sprinkler system, you do not qualify for a rain sensor through this program.

What is the make of your current control clock?*

Examples- Rain Bird, Orbit, Hunter Pro-C, Imperial, etc.

What is the model of your current control clock?*

Examples- ESP-TM2, Easy Dial, Pro-C, Valet Timer, etc.

Please note this is REQUIRED information. Some control clock brands are non-compatible with the Rain Bird rain sensor. We will check on the compatibility of your clock, and will let you know if we cannot install the rain sensor. Applications that note the make or model as "unknown" or "I don't know" will be considered incomplete and will not be added to our waitlist.

Is there enough space (~12" x 12") on the wall next to your sprinkler control clock to mount the sensor's controller interface?*

You must meet ALL qualifications in order to participate in this program. If you don't have space on the wall next to the control clock for the rain sensor receiver, you do no qualify for a rain sensor through this program.

***IMPORTANT: If your current control clock is outside your house, we will be unable to install the rain sensor. However, if you meet all of the other eligibility criteria, we can provide you with the rain sensor to install yourself.
