Water-Wise Seminar: Xeriscaping 101: Tips and Tricks

You don’t have to be an expert to design and plant your own Xeriscape garden! This seminar, taught by expert landscape designer Julie Hauser of Indigo Landscape Design, will introduce the basics of water-efficient landscaping in the Front Range, making it accessible to anyone with a little bit of space for planting. Content will include the 7 Principles of Xeriscape and guidelines for incorporating them into your own garden. Julie will explore each of these principles individually and in depth so that you have a better understanding of the Xeriscape way. From designing to maintenance, you will gain understanding of planning, planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, and much more so that you and your trowel are ready to go this spring.
