Resource Central hosts a regular series of conservation events open to the public, including seminars, lectures, networking, workshops, conservation tours, and more! Our events are displayed in blue on the calendar.
As a proud member of Colorado’s conservation community, we promote events hosted by our partners in the Front Range. These events are listed in green.
If you know of an event that helps communities put conservation into action, let us know.

Recyled Runway: 2015 Student Competition and Fashion Show
April 7, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Teens Transforming Trash
Join us as we celebrate the culmination of this unique student competition. Hosted annually by boutique consignment shop Common Threads, twenty-four local middle and high school students will compete in a number of categories as they create and show wearable art from used materials – no fabric allowed!
The Center for ReSource Conservation is proud to be the nonprofit beneficiary for the second year in a row. ReSource materials and Tool Library tools play an important role in the students’ creations. Come watch the runway show and support students, sustainability, and CRC all at once!
See the photo gallery of previous competitions here.
Ticket information will be available soon – check back!
