Permaculture is all about designing human systems that are modeled after nature. In this class, Amy Scances-Wolfe will teach you how to translate deep observation of your yard into an abundant landscape that thrives in our high, dry climate. Topics will include working with and creating micro-climate, building healthy and water-retentive soils, choosing appropriate low-water edible and medicinal plants, and the basics of forest garden design.
