Choosing Your Pickup Event

  • Know the name on your order (no need to print confirmation)
  • Bring a vehicle with space cleared
  • Arrive within your scheduled window
  • Events are held outdoors rain or shine. Delays may occur to keep staff and volunteers safe during inclement weather, however.

When You Arrive

  • Follow signage and staff directions
  • Please be patient and follow guidance—events can be busy
  • Check in at the blue tent with your name
  • Staff will confirm your order and provide materials
  • Remain in your car, put car in park, and pop the trunk
  • Staff/volunteers will load and double-check your order

After Pickup

  • Review your Plant & Care Guide
  • Keep plants shaded and watered until planting
  • Ideally plant within 2 weeks
  • Check your order—reach out if anything seems wrong

Common Pickup Questions

How big are the gardens? Will they fit in my car?

  • Flats (or trays) of starter plants are each 2 ft x 1 ft.
  • 60 sqft or less gardens (9-15 plants) are each one flat.
  • 100 sqft gardens (24-32 plants) are each two flats.
  • Flats cannot be stacked.
  • The average-sized car can fit about 8-10 flats (or 4-5 gardens).
  • If you have a large order, feel free to email us to confirm the number of flats in your order.

What if I cannot make my pickup event?

  • We strongly encourage you to attend the pickup event you selected whenever possible. If your plans change, contact us as soon as you can to request a different event—changes cannot be made within 8 days of your scheduled pickup.
  • Sometimes emergencies come up! If you’re unable to attend, a friend or family member can pick up on your behalf with your name or order confirmation.
  • Running late? You’re welcome to arrive anytime during the full event window.
  • These gardens are a live product and, due to the large volume of our business, we cannot guarantee care of the garden after the pickup event. The plants will thrive best in your care.
