Description
Take a walk down memory lane with the Curbside Charm garden. Resource Central is celebrating the Garden In A Box program’s 20th anniversary in 2023 by reimagining the first garden ever offered in the program in 2003. This often requested “hell strip” garden contains plants suited for planting in the area of grass between the road and the sidewalk, complete with two maps that span the thin, elongated area. Hardy Yellow & Fire Spinner® Iceplants will blanket the space with bright, colorful blooms. Fuchsia Prairie Winecups and bright-yellow, Dwarf Cinquefoil will start the spring off with pops of color, making way for the Mixed Colors Coneflower in the summer, and leading into the long-lasting fall blooms of the Native Gayfeather. Help us celebrate 20 years of water savings, beautiful blooms, and creating pollinator habitat with this 100 sq. ft. garden with 28 plants and 2 planting maps.

What To Expect
- Each garden contains starter plants in 4-inch pots.
- The plants will be small relative to their mature size and may not be in bloom.
- Occasionally things don't grow as planned. At times, we may have to substitute specific plants but we will always do our best to maintain the color and feel of the original design.

Hardy and Thriving
I have been changing my front lawn to xeriscape over the last 6 years and have been buying GIAB since the beginning. These are the only plants that ever survive. My garden is gorgeous and I can't say enough about these gardens.
