Brandon hails from Washington, D.C., and brings his years of experience working in all areas of the supply chain. His interest in sustainability began when he was establishing relationships with farmers and local vendors as the Executive Chef for an award-winning caterer with an emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine. After spending time working in corporate procurement, Brandon relocated to Colorado and joined the CRC team via ReSource in March of 2013. He can be found forming relationships with local businesses, homeowners, and contractors, constantly working to expand ReSource’s inventory of quality materials. An avid woodworker and cabinetmaker, he is always thrilled to speak with our customers about their ideas for reclaimed materials. When he’s not working, he can be found cycling around Boulder, hiking one of its many trails, or just enjoying the great outdoors.

Jean LovellVolunteer, Garden In A Box

Jean Lovell, Volunteer, Garden In A Box

Jean started working as a volunteer for Resource Central, then called Boulder Energy Conservation Center, about 12 years ago.  Initially she helped put together a program to locate funding support from philanthropic organizations and filled in wherever other help was needed.  A few years ago she joined the Water Program and most recently is involved in putting together the electronic Garden In A Box newsletter.  Jean has always been concerned with conservation of resources and recycling and was one of the first to support the Boy Scouts’ newspaper recycling program when it started.  She says Resource Central really fits her value system.  It also gives her the opportunity to hone her computer skills.  Jean was a Registered Nurse, a graduate of St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver.  After her children all finished high school, she went back to school and graduated from Metro State College, then became a Nurse Practitioner, and ultimately retired from Wardenburg Student Health Center at CU-Boulder.  For much of her professional life she volunteered in nursing settings.  Her passions are her family and gardening.  One of the first things she did after retirement was to become a Master Gardener through CSU.  Hobbies include being outdoors as much as possible, reading, and travel.
