Center for ReSource Conservation is now Resource Central

We’re excited to announce that the nonprofit Center for ReSource Conservation has shortened our name to Resource Central.

It reflects how we’ve become a community hub for high-impact conservation programs, helping nearly 500,000 families improve their homes, conserve natural resources, and save money. And we’re just getting started.

We’re seeing significant growth in our programs because they make it easy to conserve. Whether reducing waste, saving water, or conserving energy, there’s a sense of pride that springs from lightening our impact on the environment.

In fact, we’re determined to make conservation so simple that you don’t even realize you’re doing it. But committing to simplicity seems a bit inconsistent when you have a long, clunky name. So we shortened our name and are enhancing our programs to meet the needs of a rapidly growing Colorado.

In the months ahead we’re making investments to keep expanding our impact including:

  • Piloting new approaches to boost conservation efforts – including an innovative lawn replacement program to reduce outdoor water use.
  • Improving our materials reuse facility to better serve our customers.
  • Boosting public outreach and partnerships to educate the community about ways to use natural resources more efficiently.

Ultimately, our commitment to conservation is stronger than ever as we take our programs to the next level and work together to put conservation into action. Learn more about how you can conserve natural resources: ResourceCentral.org.
