Water-Wise Seminar: Beginner’s Guide to Veggie Gardening

Inspiring participants to grow their own food, this beginner level seminar will make vegetable gardening straightforward, fun, and accessible for all. Led by Jessica Romer, Horticulturist, Landscape Designer and former Director of Horticulture at Denver Urban Gardens, this seminar will cover the basics of growing an edible oasis. Topics and themes will include: soil amendments, plot preparation, plant selection for our Colorado climate, plant care, planting times, watering, types of garden beds, maintenance, harvesting, and more. Learn how to keep it simple, keep it local, and keep it coming all summer long with this educational seminar.
