Resource Central hosts a regular series of conservation events open to the public, including seminars, lectures, networking, workshops, conservation tours, and more! Our events are displayed in blue on the calendar.

As a proud member of Colorado’s conservation community, we promote events hosted by our partners in the Front Range. These events are listed in green.

Design-It-Yourself Veggie Garden Workshop

April 22 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Want to create the veggie garden of your dreams but don’t know where to start? Join us for a special, veggie garden design workshop taught by Jessica Romer, Horticulturist, Landscape Designer and former Director of Horticulture at Denver Urban Gardens. Jessica will share tips on how to get started with vegetable gardening in Colorado, choosing and preparing a garden location, plant selection for our Colorado climate, planting times, and how to design your own edible garden. Finally, attendees will work in small groups to create their own unique designs with guidance from Jessica and walk away with the information, tools, and resources to create your own backyard abundance. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today and learn how to design your own edible oasis!

Speaker: Jessica Romer, Professional Landscape Designer and Horticulturist
