Water-Wise Landscape Seminar: Creating a Pollinator Friendly Landscape

Let’s talk about the birds and the bees…AND the butterflies and all those other friendly pollinators! This seminar will explore the ways to prepare, design, plant, mulch, and maintain a pollinators’ paradise right in your own back yard. Horticulturist expert, Cassey Anderson of CSU Extension, will discuss how to protect the biodiversity of local pollinators, and how to contribute to a healthy and thriving ecosystem by planting a wide variety of native plants that bloom from the first signs of spring until the first chill of fall. Learn from the experts all the ways to up your pollinator game by examining what colors, fragrances, and flower shapes really entice hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to feast!
