Inspiring participants to grow their own food, this beginner level seminar will make vegetable gardening straightforward, fun, and accessible for all. Topics and themes will include: soil amendments, plot preparation, plant selection for our Colorado climate, plant care, planting times, watering needs, irrigation methods, where to purchase supplies and plants, types of garden beds, maintenance, harvesting, and more. Learn how to keep it simple, keep it local, and keep it coming all summer long with this educational and interactive seminar.

Please bring specific questions with you! During the final hour of this three-hour seminar, we will split into small groups to facilitate more intimate conversations with the pros – get your questions answered!

*This seminar is a part of the City of Boulder’s Edible Landscaping Program. Any City of Boulder resident that attends this seminar will be eligible to receive $25 OFF a vegetable Garden In A Box (while supplies last).
