A Creative Reuse Sanctuary

Off East Simpson Street in Lafayette, you will find a creative sanctuary waiting to inspire you upon your arrival. Kaleidoscope is a place where you can reengage with art or even encounter new forms of it. The hub features work rooms, community space, and even a radio station set-up! Jonathan Hanst, the executive director, crafted Kaleidoscope in 2020.

Many rooms include salvaged items from Resource Central. From art pieces to a washroom sink– reclaimed materials are treasured here. As an environmental advocate, Jonathan finds growing value in reused items. Not only do they have character, but they also provide an opportunity to try something new without messing up a blank canvas.
