Community & Conservation Impact
Thanks to everyone who joined us Saturday for the Summer Tool Sale + Rock & Reuse event! The temps were high, and so was the conservation impact.
Together, you helped give 590 tools a new life and diverted more than 52,000 pounds of materials from the landfill. More than 425 community members came out to browse reclaimed tools, shop affordable building materials, and celebrate conservation in action.
The day was also full of Rock & Reuse fun, including tacos from Los Dos Bros and live music from La Diferencia mariachi band. Program participants connected with local partners such as Melton Design Build, Boulder Sports Recycler, and the ChargeBug app for resources, swag, and fun activities. It was a blast to watch so many fun interactions and connections being made!
We’re grateful to everyone who shopped, celebrated, volunteered, partnered, and helped make the day such a success. By choosing reclaimed tools and materials, you helped reduce waste, support affordable access to home improvement supplies, and put conservation into action in the community. Thank you!
What’s Next
There are two more Rock & Reuse events scheduled this summer, which means two more major opportunities to celebrate reuse, reduce waste, and connect with our community. Save the date for a special Rock & Reuse edition coming up on Saturday, August 8. More details coming soon!
