Chloe grew up in Illinois, where her love for nature was shaped by time spent exploring forest preserves, green spaces, and nearby state parks. Recognizing not only a deep connection to the outdoors but also a desire to make a positive impact, she moved to Colorado to study Restoration Ecology at Colorado State University. She graduated in 2022 with experience in research, soil science, environmental education, and local agriculture.

During her time at CSU, Chloe became especially interested in how communities are intrinsically connected to the environment yet are often not included in decision making. This realization led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Conservation Leadership at CSU, where she developed skills in interdisciplinary social science research and community collaboration.

Chloe is grateful to be part of an organization like Resource Central that shares her passion for people-centered conservation and is excited to be a part of the water and research team where she can turn research into actionable recommendations and real world solutions.

In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, baking, reading, and spending time with her two cat babies, Dash and Dudley.
