Spring is in full swing, and so is our amazing volunteer community! Thanks to the time, energy, and enthusiasm of our volunteer team, we’ve already seen incredible progress at our Materials Reuse facility this year. From keeping our reclaimed materials organized to greeting program participants with a smile, our volunteers are helping drive real conservation action. So far in 2025, our team of dedicated volunteers has contributed over 240 hours of service, and we’re just getting started!
We’d like to give a special shoutout to Renee, one of our founding volunteer community members. With over 20 hours contributed, Renee has brought positivity, leadership, and a passion for the circular economy that embodies the spirit of reuse and sustainability.

Ongoing Opportunities:
- Handyperson Crew – Help with repairs and maintenance projects around the Reuse facility. Flexible scheduling and satisfying work guaranteed!
- Adopt-a-Section – Team up with friends, family, or coworkers to keep a specific area organized, like the door section, tool section, or rummage row.
Special Events:
- Earth Day Sale on April 22 – Help welcome customers, keep things flowing smoothly, and celebrate conservation in action at our Earth Day Sale!
- CU Move-Out Prep on May 6–8 – Help unload and sort the thousands of pounds of materials we collect from CU Boulder’s student move-out.
- CU Move-Out Sale & Rock & Reuse Event on May 17 – One of our biggest sale and diversion events of the year! Lend a hand while enjoying live music, food trucks, and great reuse energy.
