Raised in Florida, David  brings nearly a decade of experience in bilingual conservation outreach and community engagement, having worked with global and national conservation organizations. He holds a Master of Science in Ecology and has helped connect diverse communities with environmental programs and resources through roles with Boulder County Parks and Open Space and Water For People.

 

As Outreach and Events Coordinator at Resource Central, David leads community outreach efforts, represents the organization at events and workshops, and builds partnerships with local organizations to expand conservation impact. He also supports Spanish-language communications to make programs more accessible and welcoming to underrepresented community members.

 

Outside of work, David enjoys guiding hikes, walking his cats, and is happiest in or near the water. He also creates documentary-style environmental films, combining storytelling and conservation to highlight connections between people and the natural world.
