David is an attorney with over 15 years of broad-based experience advising clients on a wide range of legal issues including general business law, structuring and negotiating commercial agreements, intellectual property protection and licensing, counseling on compliance, and managing disputes. Prior to founding his own firm, David served as in-house counsel to the largest IT company in the world, spent several years at two large international law firms based in Washington, D.C., and served as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee. David graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law, lives in Boulder with his wife and two children and enjoys trail running, fly fishing, and skiing.
